Women Build 2021

About This Campaign

Women Build: Habitat for Humanity’s women’s empowerment program

Habitat for Humanity's Women Build program, sponsored by Volt Credit Union, provides an opportunity for women to take a proactive step in serving their community. Volunteers work under the guidance of construction professionals, and alongside other volunteers and future Habitat homeowners. Whether you are learning new skills or simply adding a few to your tool belt, this is a rewarding experience for all involved, and improves the community that you share. No experience necessary!

Women Build Volunteers:

If you want to be a volunteer, it's easy! Follow these easy steps to register and Habitat will take care of the rest!
  • $40 Donation: Make a $40 gift to our Women Build program! Volunteers receive an official volunteer t-shirt for their selected build day. Volunteers are asked to make a donation to further the mission of Habitat's program to empower women. The support also covers the cost of materials and supervision of your build.
  • 4 Hour Volunteer Shift: join us on the build site! Construction will be July 18, 2020 - September 26, 2020. Volunteer shifts are available Wednesday - Saturday, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm, with morning and afternoon shifts available. Register your volunteer shift online. *Due to COVID-19, volunteering is limited. We will review volunteers on a week-by week basis. Please check the Women Build volunteer page regularly for volunteer opportunities.*
  • 4 Friends: volunteering is more fun with friends! Recruit 4 of your best friends to be volunteers with you! The more women who volunteer and donate to our program, the more you're helping Habitat for Humanity!
Women Build 2020 is sponsored by Volt Credit Union.
