Women Build 2021

Habitat for Humanity's Women Build program, presented by Volt Credit Union, provides an opportunity for women to take a proactive step in serving their community. Volunteers work under the guidance of skilled construction workers, and alongside other volunteers and future Habitat homeowners. We at Habitat have the ability to provide opportunities for hands-on learning, and given the tools, women can succeed in changing their communities.

Whether you are learning new skills or simply adding a few to your tool belt, this is a rewarding experience for all involved, and improves the community that you share. No experience necessary!

The 2021 Women Build will be held from October 2021 through December 2021. The future homeowner is a retired single female who needs a healthy living space for her own with a yard for her dog.

How does it work? Once we have dates finalized, we will send you an email with information on how to...

• Make a suggested $40 donation: Make a $40 gift to our Women Build program! Volunteers receive an official volunteer t-shirt for their selected build day. Volunteers are asked to make a donation to further the mission of Habitat’s program to empower women. The support also covers the cost of materials and supervision of your build. This is suggested but not required to volunteer!
• Sign up for 1 or more volunteer shifts: Join us on the build site! Construction shifts will be available Wednesday - Saturday, 8:30-11:30 am and 8:30 am-3:30 pm. Shift sign-up will be online.
• Recruit 4 friends: Volunteering is more fun with friends! Recruit 4 of your best friends to volunteer with you! The more women who volunteer and donate to our program, the more you're helping Habitat for Humanity!
